Living With Others - Part One

I wake with the lovely Olga on the pillow next to mine. She's still sound asleep.

I look at the Dalvey clock on the nightstand. Harold had good taste. It's just after eleven.

I nearly close the kitchen door and call for a hazmat team. But I don't.

If I'm going to live with these women, there will be standards maintained. A minimum standard of hygiene will be enforced.

There is a roll of untouched bin bags in the larder. I snap the first one open and just start throwing shit away.

Every window I can find is opened.

Either my nostrils are scorched beyond use from the stench or the fumes are starting to dissipate.
